Kentucky PLTW Teacher Resources and Listserv
UK College of Engineering has created a listserve to provide a forum for Kentucky PLTW teachers. You are invited to subscribe to the PLTW-KY-Teachers Listserv. Additional engineering education resources are available at Related Links.
PLTWKY Material Loans Program (MLP)
When a Kentucky teacher attends PLTW Core Training at the University of Kentucky College of Engineering, and the school or district is unable to afford the Engineering Specialty materials, or other necessary equipment for that course, the school can borrow the needed equipment under a Memorandum of Understanding from PLTWKY during the academic year to use while the school and/or district aligns the funding necessary to procure the equipment or materials. Consumables are the responsibility of the school and/or district.
This process applies to the Engineering Specialty materials and supplies listed in the PLTW Pathway to Engineering Core Training workbook for which the PLTWKY office has materials.
